1/10th Multiple Apple Box Lift Video Test

This video shows the proof of concept of this device on a smaller scale than the full scale model.

Weighing Device

This image shows the weight of the device. The requirment was to meet less than 2lbs. The device ended up weighing 1.43lbs.

Unsuccessful Attempt

The image on the left shows an unsuccessful attempt of trying to lift the boxes. When calculating the lifting pressure to lift the load the needed pressure was 25 psi. However, that was for a static load. The fact that this is a dynamic application was overlooked. The device did not successfully lift the boxes at 25 psi.

Successful Attempt

This attempt shows a successful lift. In this image the boxes were successfully lifted at 35 psi. After extensive testing the average pressure of a successful lift is 37 psi. However, its recommended to run this device at 40 psi to insure a successful lift everytime.

Safety Factor Test

This image shows a test proving the device has a safety factor of 1.25. These large wooden blocks weigh 1.57lbs. The device can succesfully hold and lift these blocks.
